Bryce Sawyer is a New York based artist with over 6 years of freelance experience. Bryce began to work professionally while studying for her BFA from NYU. After receiving her degree, Bryce attended Makeup Designory NYC (MUD) where she was certified in Makeup Fundamentals, Special Effects Makeup, and Prop and Prosthetic Manufacturing. Bryce’s special effects skills include but are not limited to: silicone and foam latex prosthetic application, old age makeup, beard and hair laying, airbrushing, and all things blood and guts. Though special effects is her speciality, she is also versed in beauty techniques ranging from “Clean,” “Natural,” and “Bridal,” all the way through “Glamour,” “Runway,” and “Drag” makeup. Bryce’s primary passion is the construction of props and prosthetics. Bryce is proficient in the sculpting and mold making process, and has a strong inclination towards painting and hair work.
